NC approved/proposed expenditures include Star Trek Museum, 1100 crab pots

In the proposed budget is a 1.7 million dollar expenditure for a Star Trek museum at NC A&T University; a 25 million dollar fishing pier in Dare County; $13 million for in state tuition for out of state athletes; $38,000 for 1100 crab pots to help a fisherman’s business and a $137,500 trip for Commerce Department executives who took a 2 week trip to Europe.
These spending ideas have either already been previously approved by the NC legislature, or have been proposed for a vote this session.
